I’ve had this brand of water filter before and this model has some simple design improvements that move things along. You no longer have to remove the whole top section in order to fill up, and the opening has a useful stay on notch. The whole thing seems more balanced even when full. Tea definitely tastes better. The only thing I would comment is that the inner section that holds the filter unit only goes in one way and isn’t symmetrical. Put it in the wrong way and the top lid won’t fit on the jug…perhaps the manufacturer could mould an arrow into the plastic to show this. Small stuff though and overall good value for the price.

I wanted to start drinking filtered water as the tap water tasted different and even though I knew this for a while, I felt I needed I had to get a filter jug. I was originally boiling my tap water but it was very time consuming and also using electricity to boil it.

This is an amazing filter jug which comes with 3 filters. It is very lightweight and very easy to clean. The filter compartment fits snug into the main jug, which appears very durable and strong.

You fill the jug upto to the top and then let the water filter through to the bottoms and then keep topping up the jug until the whole jug is full of filtered water. We keep the jug at the side of the fridge, not inside, and it always tastes fresh.
