Human strains

The human gut contains thousands of different strains of live bacteria (from different groups and species) and multi-strain products have been shown to work synergistically to support this diversity.

The Lactobacillus and Bifidobacteria groups of probiotic bacteria are the most studied and ProVen Probiotics contain two strains of each group and additional Lactobacillus strains when suited to a particular product.

The stomach is an acidic environment and friendly bacteria need to be able to survive this to reach the microbiota in the intestines.

ProVen Probiotics are held in suspension in their various formats until they reach the stomach. Taking them with food will ensure that the pH of the stomach allows them to pass into the small intestine alongside the food as it is digested.

Good ingredients with a long lasting use by date.
A good pack of tablets, which are packaged well and as you can see form the photo they are individually sealed in a foil pack. I got these in in July 2019 and they have a use by date of October 2020, which is great. The size of the tablets mean you should drink plenty of water when taking them and the box says you need to take them with food. After taking the photo I opened them to take and they don't have an odour or aftertaste. Easy to open pack, keeps for a long time and good quality ingredients. Very pleased with these.

    The only reason for the 1star on taste is that there is no taste. I started taking it every morning since I was 7weeks pregnant, and I was suffering severe constipation (I was drinking a lot of fluids, and eating plenty of fibers and yoghurt, still). After only 2days of taking this, has been a Godsent ever since, currently 27weeks. I waited for so long till I write a review so that my reciew is accurate! Girls, take it with water every morning, you will feel "lighter" every day :)
