I like and trust Zojiruishi insulated product. Have the Tumblers in various size, keep my tea and coffee warm for hours, keeping iced drinks from dust to dawn is a piece of cake. Also have vacuum flasks, small 480ml/600ml and large 41oz/51oz that could keep boiling water hot till the next day. When I knew Zojiruishi also make electric airpot, I bought it instantly.

I was using Panasonic 4L airpot prior to this, the Zojiruishi 5L is actually smaller in all dimension! As you can see from the pictures. I thought Zojiruishi must have done some magic by making the airpot shrink in size yet hold more water. Until compare it to Panasonic simply by touching the side panel, the Zojiruishi is hotter by >10C and have to consume more energy to keep the water at 98C, because it keep losing heat with its inadequate insulation.

See attached picture for my less than technical finding. One more thing, the Zojiruishi consume ~50Wh to keep@98C, the Panasoni only need ~10Wh. This may not looks like much until we multiple it by 24hrs/365 days. That work out to be 438KWh, with SG electricity tariff@SGD$0.3/KW, that's SGD$131 a year! The panasonic is only one fifth of it, I could buy a panasonic airpot every 2 years for the electricity I paid/saved. FYI, the panasonic is also on Amazon.sg and I highly recommend it.
